Our top 5 Healthy Picks for Spring in Bondi

We are coming to the end of winter, so the good news is that everyone will be out of hibernation in no time and one of the world's most iconic beaches, Bondi Beach is going to be pumping again. Spring is a great time to start shedding some of the extra layers and start getting active, feeling healthy and energised in time for summer so with that in mind, here are our top things to do in Bondi.

1. BUF Girls

We absolutely love these girls and the good news is that you don't even have to be in Bondi to benefit from them. Led by one of the most recognised trainers in the industry, Libby Babet, the BUF Girls have bootcamps set up all over Sydney, plus they have a number of online programs that all tell a story to help you get motivated to work out. Training with BUF (whether with the girls or alone) is a great opportunity to get yourself outdoors and soak up some vitamin D after months of winter. 

2. Lox Stock & Barrel

This is one of our favourite breakfast spots in town as it not only has a great atmosphere, but they also have some very healthy options. The Bowlarama is a local favorite and it contains sprouted quinoa toast, poached eggs, avocado, hoummus, kale, seaweed, fermented vegies and miso dressing. 

3. Bondi Yoga House

After quitting our corporate jobs to travel and take some time out to realise what was important to us, we came up with Bondi Yoga House, the first urban guesthouse and retreat in Bondi Beach. Here, we utilise partnerships with other wellness brands in the area to create a tailored experience to suit each guest's individual needs. Our guesthouse features individually decorated rooms, communal living areas and kitchen, a yoga space and in house massage treatments. We also take small yoga classes at the house.

4. Macellaria

This place not only offers an incredibly healthy lunch, but we would also say that it is the best value in Bondi. From BBQ meats to a large selection of salads, there's plenty of choice for everyone and the quality of the food is outstanding. Extra bonus, it is BYO!

Sculpture by the Sea is a famous activity that happens in Bondi each spring, however it can get hectic as people come from all over Sydney and beyond to do the walk. Beat the crowds and get up early for a coastal walk to take in the views and internationally recognised artists between Bondi and Bronte. You won't regret it.
